We had another fantastic World Book Day celebration at the school. We started off with a whole school assembly. Some of our Book Club students had organised a whole school Kahoot - they used only books from our reading list - including Lord of the Flies, The Fault in Our Stars and books from the Percy Jackson and Harry Potter series. There are 20 questions and I have duplicated the quiz so anyone can play it, if you search the public Kahoots, it is called 'Incredible Book Quiz'. We had over 70 people playing, including students, staff and parents.
We also watched this video I made a while ago about the benefits of reading.
Afterwards we had our second annual literary inspired breakfast! Students had brought in a huge selection of wonderful foods, all inspired by food that appears in books. Here are some of my favourites:

and of course we ended by spreading ourselves out across the school and having a nice read!
