I have started using the ClassTools Random Name Picker again. I find that I have a couple of students who are very quiet in class and don't contribute as much as I would like them to, to class discussions. Using the random name picker means all students get a chance to contribute. They also get excited when I use it, as it is almost a game!
Although ClassTools is a pretty garish clumsy looking website I actually use some of the tools it provides on a daily basis!
